Optimized Working Environment
Just the Essentials all in one place
I always keep the tools I need most often in my top left drawer. It is importat for to know that they’re always in the same spot, allowing me to seamlessly flow from task to task without any interruptions. The drawer is also a removable work tray so that I can take it with me to the piano if I dont need my entire workstation.

Substance Organization
"Stay efficient by keeping your tools and supplies organized and within reach. When everything is easy to find, you can focus on what truly matters – getting the job done!"

Work Surfaces
Having specific work surfaces designed for particular tasks facilitates efficient, factory-style movements. This approach enhances speed and consistency, essential for delivering effective results in any operational environment. Bylining processes, teams can achieve higher productivity and maintain quality standards.

Raised Board for Key Easing
This board is designed to slide over the keyframe when servicing it on the workbench. Its thoughtful design allows for easy removal of keys, which can then be placed conveniently on the board. A keyboard-width hole is routed into the board, aligning perfectly with the balance hole, enabling me to access all balance holes in sequence without needing to lift sections of keys. This is one of many steps that streamlines the servicing process, making the work more efficient and consistent.

Using a kickstand
"Although this technique presents certain risks, gaining a wide-angle perspective can be beneficial for specific tasks such as travel burning and spacing. It is essential to strike the right balance to optimize outcomes."
Work Trays for Each Job
I've since transitioned to a workstation that has everything I need at my fingertips. In the past, I relied on dedicated work trays for different tasks and I found that keeping my essentials organized on the piano was incredibly effective. However, my only concern now is managing the clutter that comes with having too many items on the piano.
